Function - A fast rotating rotor creates a vertical liquid stream. On the bottom of the vessel the liquid is divided into two streams and is forced to flow upwards where it is again redirected towards the bottom of the vessel
- A ring at the lower part of the stator forces a certain part of the liquid stream to pass through the rotor/stator system and causes a particle size reduction by the dispersing effect
|
Set-up - The Dispermix mixer is either installed on top of the tank or as a side entry machine
|
Advantages - Mixing is effected without the induction of any air. The whole contents of the vessel is homogeneously mixed and dispersed simultaneously. Agglomerates are immediately broken, no lumps can form. Powder is dispersed down to its original particle size.

One machine for two applications in the same time
- 80 % of the energy are being used according to the principle of the Jetstream mixer
- 20 % of the energy create a dispersing effect following the dispersing principle
- High mixing effect and simultaneous dispersing
- Short processing time
- No additional disperser required
- Easy adaptation to different processing procedures
- Installation from top or as a side entry version
- Lump-free dispersion of gels and high viscosity products

ystral Dispermix applications - Emulsions
High dispersing and mixing effect No additional dispersing energy required Reduction of processing time when using an additional high pressure homogeniser processing step - Pigment suspensions
Very good wetting of the pigments Dry substances concentration up to 50% - Thickeners
Absolutely lump-free product for viscosity up to 20.000 mPas - Spice mixture
Mixing head may be modified to keep particle size to a wanted degree - Concentrate for fruit juice
Short production time for pre-emulsions Homogen pre-emulsion shortens the processing time for high pressure homogenisers - Premix for ice cream
High percentage of dry substances Fat is completely emulsified No agglomerates of powdery products
